Due to his parents' strict values, Cain has grown up to harbour a lot of anger. He is less impulsive than his father, but he is equally as cruel. Because early signs of his ASPD were brushed off by his parents (who refused to consider their son may not be perfect), Cain has an innate lack of empathy and morality. He uses his large stature to his advantage and is incredibly involved with all of the athletics that Sodomshire Secondary School has. Because of his religious beliefs, he's unable to accept his same-sex attraction. Cain ends up manipulating and harming the people around him to make himself feel more in control of his own life.
Dimitri Radostov
Pronouns: He/him
Age: 20-21
Height: 5'8" (~174 cm)
More commonly referred to as "Dima", Dimitri is a very reserved young adult with a seemingly spiritual connection to the afterlife. He lives in the city outside of Sodomshire, where he shares a flat with his childhood friend & roommate Val. However, he does spend a lot of time in the village. Dima is a gravekeeper for the Sodomshire Cemetary. He takes his job of maintaining and upkeeping the cemetary incredibly seriously, so much so that it could be considered his "home away from home".

Evangeline Bowers
Pronouns: She/her
Age: 23-24
Height: 4'11" (~150 cm)
Evangeline "Angie" Bowers is a right mess of a woman. As it currently stands, she has a flat in the city and works a retail job. Most of her income is used to fuel her drug addiction, partying, and hoarding tendencies instead of her rent, but she is working with Dr. Handke and Mrs. Cadogan to curb these issues. Because of her lack of familial stability as a child, her perceptions of relationships are skewed. (Ex.: Dr. Hanke is not merely a psychopharmacologist to her, but a father figure, savior, and boyfriend.)

Seraphina Andretti
Pronouns: She/her
Age: 18-19
Height: 5'4" (~162 cm)
On the surface, Seraphina seems to be a quiet, reserved person. She keeps to herself at school, prioritizing class and drawing over socializing. However, she acts completely different online. There, she is as social as can be, and raves about her interests in forums and posts. She has a particular focus on "scene" fashion and subculture. Seraphina is very friendly once she gets to know people, however her emotions can be quite intense and unstable.

Valerian Stoyanova **
Pronouns: Any, no preference (They/she/he)
Age: 20-21
Height: 5'5" (~165 cm)
Valerian, also known as "Valerie" and more commonly "Val", is a passionate individual. He loves fashion, dressing up, and socializing. She is drawn to introverts and otherwise shy/awkward people (like Dima) because she finds it endearing. Bringing someone out of their shell and encouraging them to be more impulsive is important to them. He likes when people are able to act like their true, animalistic selves, instead of the mask they put on for society.

Dr. Fabian Handke
Pronouns: He/him
Age: Late 40s
Height: 6'1" (~185 cm)
A sleazy, clinical psychopharmacologist*. He is hot-headed and quick to anger, though keeps it hidden well for the most part. Fabian Handke is no stranger to using his authority to manipulate his patients (and his spouse) to satisfy his selfish wants.
*(A psychiatrist who specializes in the use of medicines when treating mental disorders.)
Roman Cadogan
Pronouns: He/him
Age: 19-20
Height: 6'1" (~186 cm)
Despite his intimidating appearance, Roman is a sweet young man who is very protective over the ones he loves. Before graduating secondary school, he was fairly popular, yet was never afraid to make his opinion known. Disrespect doesn't slide past him, not when he was raised by a single mother and heavily supported by their distant family in Ireland and Wales. He currently works as a prep cook for a local grill, but wants to get a job in the city. Music is a core part of his life.
Rhys Cadogan
Pronouns: He/him
Age: 15-16
Height: 5'8" (~173cm)
Roman's younger brother. He attends secondary school in Sodomshire, and spends his free time skateboarding, as well as playing video games. While not unpopular, Rhys is incredibly awkward around people. He enjoys small rodents like rats, mice, and ferrets. His brother's reputation precedes him, so he isn't picked on for being a nerd. He looks up to Roman unconditionally.

Ms. Andretti
Pronouns: She/her
Age: Early 30s
Rosalia is an incredibly compassionate woman, who is also Seraphina's mother. Born and raised in Italy, she emigrated to Sodomshire, England so they could start a new life. She works very hard to keep her and her daughter safe and afloat in the rocky economic state. Seraphina is her main priority; she would rather focus on her daughter's medical bills than using their limited savings on herself.
Ms. Cadogan
Pronouns: She/her
Age: Late 30s/Early 40s
As a licensed addiction/substance abuse counselor, Anne's schedule is tight. Her business often bleeds into her personal life, but her passion for helping people can't seem to be quelled. She specializes in outpatient treatment at a rehab facility, which includes; counselling, referrals, group therapy, intervention, and education. As her sons grew up, it was common for her to foster and home children who were in need. She has a particular soft spot for troubled teenagers.
Mrs. Doughtery
Pronouns: She/her
Age: Early-Mid 40s
The devoutly religious mother of Cain. She is distant and detatched from reality and her family's lives. While she is home more often than her husband, lacking business trips and long hours at the office, she is just as emotionally neglective of her son and their pets. Her joy in life comes from volunteering and participating at the church and spreading their values.
Mr. Dougherty
Pronouns: He/him
Age: Mid-Late 40s
While Patrick upholds the same conservative values that his wife does, it is less about religion for him. He seeks control. He is a hot-headed, impulsive man who demands respect and will not tolerate any kind of behaviour that could tarnish the Dougherty family's name. He keeps a tight leash on Cain, making sure that he grows up to be a strong man just like him.
